9 North Mast - Update

The new year started with the SAU #19 alternative education program moving into its new home, the front section of the new building. The snack bar, coke machine, and big screen TV provided good incentives for the students to learn well during class time and to enjoy forming a sense of educational community.

The youth group of St. Matthew’s Church hosted teens from The Goffstown Congregational Church and St. Lawrence Church for fellowship and indoor Olympics. It was gratifying to see over 60 teenagers and 10 youth leaders enjoying the new space. Bigger and better things are clearly on the horizon.

We are making good use of the building on Sundays, especially in the wake of the February 8 fire in the Parish House. Four Sunday School classes have now moved into the building. The kids and adults love their new space. Coming soon - Coffee Hours!!

Crispin’s House is making good use of its office and facilities at 9 North Mast as court diversion, the mentoring program, the volunteer initiative, youth forum are up and running. And very soon, an after school youth cafe (Tuesdays through Fridays from 3 to 6) will be added to the list.

Summer programs and a youth work camp are planned.

Our thanks to our plumbers, painters, carpenters, roofers and electricians who continue to upgrade the facility!
