LISTEN TO HIM – WHAT WOULD YOU HEAR? (The following list of sayings is a sample of the intent and wisdom of the Savior Jesus Christ.)

+I come that may have life and have it abundantly.

+Come to me all ye who travail and are heavy laden and I will refresh you.

+Father I pray that they all may be one.

+Everyone the Father gives to me will come to me , and I will never turn them away.

+Be opened.

+Go in peace, your faith has made you well.

+Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.

+You are the salt of the earth.

+You are the light of the world.

+Have you believed because you have seen? Blessed are they who believe who have NOT seen.

+The good shepherd knows his sheep by name and will lay down his life for his sheep.

+Today you will be with me in paradise.

+I no longer call servants, for now I call you friends.

+ Blessed are the merciful for they shall obtain mercy.

+Blessed are the peacemakers, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven.

+Blessed are the poor in spirit, blessed are they who mourn for they shall be comforted.

+I am here to proclaim the day of the Lord’s favor.

+Where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

+Bring the little children to me, do not hinder them.

+Not my will, but Your will be done .. Oh God.

+ Father, forgive them.

+I am the vine and you are the branches, by this my Father is glorified that You bear much fruit and so prove to be my disciples.

+It is more blessed to give than to receive.

+I am resurrection and life, says the Lord, whoever has faith in me shall have life even though he die.

+You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all soul and with all your mind, this is the first and great commandment and the second is this, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself”, on these two commands depend all the law and the prophets….

+Do not be afraid, but believe.

+Take heart, fear not, it is I.

+Seek ye first the Kingdom of God , and then all things will be given unto you.

+You did not choose me, for I have chosen you.

  Indeed friend this is just a sample of what you hear when you listen to the Son of God. It is the best of wisdom, the surest foundation on which to build your life, the most fulfilling nourishment the human soul could ask for. God has spoken indeed. God has chosen you and each of us to hear for a reason , that we may ambassadors for Christ in our time , in our circumstance, whether it is at your office, your classroom or sports field, a waitng or recovery room or your friend’s house.  The way and wisdom of God is accessible to you as spoken by Christ the Savior. Listen to him, his words are always life affirming and meant for you. His direction is always true. Now sit quietly and read that list again. Peace be with you.
