Dear Junior Choir and Parents,

This year we would love to have every child between the 2^nd and 8^th grades who likes sing (whether or not they can sing already) join with the St. Matthew’s Junior Choir as often as they can. Consider this your invitation to join in and sing with Jr. Choir starting this Fall. We have some new members and a great group of veterans.

Regular Rehearsals begin most Sundays at 11:15 with warm ups followed by anthem singing until 11:45am. It’s a great way to learn to read music and have fun making a joyful noise with other kids. Parents can enjoy coffee hour downstairs while the kids rehearse in the church upstairs.

October 4 – 11:15 warm up & rehearsal

October 11 – Jr. Choir sings at 10am worship, warm up 9:30am

October 18 – 11:15 warm up & rehearsal

October 25 – 11:15 warm up & rehearsal

November 1 – 11:15 warm up & rehearsal

November 8 – Jr. Choir sings at 10am worship, warm up 9:30am

November 15 – 11:15 warm up & rehearsal

November 22 – 11:15 warm up & rehearsal & Community Thanksgiving Anthem, warm up at 6:30pm, service at 7pm.

November 29 – 11:15 warm up & rehearsal

December 6 – 11:15 warm up & rehearsal

December 13 – Jr. Choir sings at 10am worship, warm up 9:30am

December 20 – 11:15 warm up & rehearsal

December 24 – Jr. Choir Christmas Eve Anthem, warm up at 6:30pm, service at 7pm.

January 3, 2010 – Epiphany Play at 10am service (Jr. Choir members are encouraged to take parts in the play.) The Bishop visits that day.

January 10, 2010 – Reorganize for Winter/Lent choir series.
